termite inspections

Have you been inspected?

A termite inspection is a visual inspection of a home for evidence of wood-destroying insects.

Subterranean termites homes are usually formed in soil. Within these mounds, termites build elaborate tunnel systems and mud tunnels through which they access above-ground food sources. Drywood termites live within the wood they consume and oftentimes infest walls and furniture.

For this reason and others, the inspector will visually inspect the entire interior of a home including accessing and entering any sub-space such as basements and crawlspaces, also the and exterior of the property. Looking for any indication of an infestation. We are licensed, bonded, and insurance so please do hesitate to contact us immediately.

What to expect

Our inspector will need to check all water sources for termite activity. These pests need water to survive, so most sinks and drains can reveal whether termites are in your home.

  • Professionals need to check for any signs of termites tunneling into your home from the outside. They’ll be on the lookout for mud tubes on the walls of your home.
  • Inspection of exterior walls of your home.
  • May need to remove any items that block the entryway of the inspecting
